(Summary description)Yamaha feeder daily spot check and maintenance Purpose: In order to be able to use the belt feeder continuously and for a long time, regular spot checks and maintenance must be carried out. 1 Daily inspection Before using the belt feeder, please check the following items.  Inspection items Symptoms Countermeasures Is the fixing rod loose Please check the maintenance manual Is the belt guide loose  Refer to "Cleaning of belt guide". Is the screw loose Please tighten the screws Are there any deformed or damaged components? Repair and exchange Is there a missing component Repair and exchange 2 Cleaning of the belt guide If electronic components and other garbage fall into the gap between the material belt guide and the board, it will cause the loosening of the material belt guide and the deformation of the component transmission mouth, which will lead to the deviation of the component absorption position. If the electronic components are dropped into the gap between the belt guide and the plate, the belt guide will be loosened and the component transfer port will be deformed. If this happens, follow the steps below to clean up. Step1 Remove the belt guide. Loosen the screws holding the belt guide shaft above and remove the belt guide and the guide shaft. Use a screwdriver to turn the belt guide shaft to facilitate removal. Removal of the strip guide (Figure) step2 for sweeping. Please use a brush to sweep the debris between the strip guide and the plate. Sweeping the material belt guide (picture) step3 Check the operation status of the component transfer port. Confirm that the element transfer port is operating correctly. If it is caught or the operation is slow, please exchange the new belt guide in time. Confirm the operation status (Figure) step4 Attach the strip guide. Install the belt guide and guide shaft on the plate in reverse order. Please use a screwdriver to turn the guide shaft 180 degrees in counterclockwise direction to apply elasticity to the belt guide. Apply elasticity to the belt guide. Keep this position and tighten the set screw of the belt guide shaft. Afterwards, make sure that there is no gap between the belt guide and the plate.
